I really love Robert Kaufman's Oriental Traditions 8! I think my love of these fabrics goes back to the days when I collected transferware china, which is the china that you see that has scenes on it (see plate), much like toile on fabric. The use of different color ways and metallic accents helps me use these fabrics with my other obsession, Michael Miller's Fairy Frost! Always liked this combo, always will!
We have all the information for this year's shop hop on the Quilters' Quest website and we're excited to have KC Framing & Fabrics join our shop hop family. The Joyful Quilter's first ever Leftovers Party was a hit! Susan's daughter Sadie and the ladies all got alot done. Sadie was the first to finish a UFO! Bob was the first to eat three brownies between first and second breakfast. Yikes! A fun day was had by all!
